This is one of my favourite frames from our epic lion-hunt sighting in the Kalahari recently. I saw the eland moving towards the lions and imagined getting a shot like this, but knew the eland would see the lions.

Guess what?? The eland didn’t see the lions! At least not until they initiated their chase. It didn’t end well for the eland, though.

This is pretty much a full frame vertical capture. It’s worth checking out on 500px in higher resolution too.
