If people were aware of how badly circus animals are abused, they would DEMAND change. Until then, decision-makers and legislators are unlikely to take action. Do your part to help educate the community! Distribute 20 leaflets each week to neighbors, friends and colleagues. Write to your city council and ask them to ban animal circuses from your city; have your friends and family do the same. Set up an information booth in the center of your town to inform the public of behind-the-scenes animal abuse in circuses. Are you a great public speaker? Make arrangements to speak at your local school. Get started by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org for materials, letter-writing tips, talking points and more.
