I couldnt believe my eyes today. This lovely girl is eating really well and is moving around quite well. When arriving this morning at her enclosure, to my surprise there she was up on the ledge. I had often wondered if she was ever going to be able to jump again with that dear body. After chatting with the Vet for a while about her bones, body and increase of health, it was wonderful to find out that all evidence points to the fact that Melani is no longer in any pain at all. I took my camera out and took this photo, doesnt she look so beautiful Sitting tall and looking quiet regal really!! She began to shuffle around and I thought I would get my video camera out to film her jumping down. After a big stretch she looked at the ground and glided down there, sleek and steady, just like a 100% healthy tiger. She didnt wobble or waiver. I will upload that film when I get to a better internet connection
This lovely dear girl is such a survivor, such an inspiration.
There are people who give up on Tigers that are injured or ill, but every Tiger counts.
The look on her face says,
“Yes my name is Melani and I am still here and I am Tiger ”
To all those people who have donated for her formula and medicine, look at her, you helped her get to Stage 2. (see below post if you dont know what Im talking about)
Smile, Melani knows she is loved, Ive told her every day how much you all love her. I believe your love is helping her, please dont ever stop xoxo ~ Sybelle
