This in Ethosa National Park in Namibia which is fenced. The roads are not “commercial” roads that is, only tourists who, fortunately, are not in a hurry use them specifically to see wildlife. The big truck in the photo is most likely there to supply the lodges.
But this exact same image could happen in the Serengeti where the vehicles are in a hurry to get from Arusha to Lake Victoria or visa versa. By the governments own EIA they expect 800 vehicles using it as soon as it is built, with the number increasing each year. . .
